IU men’s basketball senior guard Al Durham entered his name into the transfer portal Monday, according to Jeff Goodman of Stadium.
Durham was the lone senior to see consistent playing time on IU’s roster this past season and was the only four-year member of the team.
The Lilburn, Georgia, native was the Hoosiers’ third-leading scorer this season averaging 11.3 points per game. Durham became the 53rd player in IU men’s basketball history to score 1,000 career points at IU after scoring 15 points against Michigan on Feb. 27. Durham ends his IU career 51st in career scoring with 1,035 career points.
“He put his blood sweat and tears into the program,” sophomore forward Trayce Jackson-Davis said Feb. 26. “That didn't always result in wins, but just know that he always worked as hard as he could for every game.”
Durham will be a graduate transfer with immediate eligibility.
