IU men’s golf will compete at the Spartan Collegiate at Sea Island on Monday and Tuesday at Sea Island Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia. The event is being hosted by Michigan State.
The event will utilize a par-72 course originally designed by Walter Travis before a remodel from Davis and Mark Love in 2019.
The Hoosiers will face a 16-team field, including Big Ten conference competition in Michigan State, Iowa, Ohio State, Northwestern, Rutgers and Minnesota, along with non-conference teams such as the University of Cincinnati, the University of Notre Dame and Iowa State University.
IU has previously competed against Iowa, Ohio State and Minnesota during the Big Ten Match Play Championship, defeating all three teams.
The first two rounds of competition will be played on Monday before a final round on Tuesday. Each day will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
