The Back Door, a Bloomington LGBTQ inclusive nightclub, will reopen Saturday. The bar will have a grand reopening patio party from 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
The event will be hosted by performer Vex Beaverhausen and feature Mary Fagdalane, Mocha Debeauté, Juniper Perón and Kalinda, according to an announcement posted on The Back Door website.
The event is limited to 80 guests per show and all attendees must make reservations in advance. Tickets may be purchased by the table on The Back Door website, $20 for a two-person table and $40 for a four-person table. Table reservations are for three-hour blocks from either 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. or 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
The event will include both an early show running from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and a late show from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., according to the announcement.
The event will be outdoor only and require masks at all times. Sanitation stations will be available throughout the patio and bar, according to the announcement.
The announcement urges patrons to practice social distancing, and the dance floor will be closed for the event.
