Ivy Tech Community College is offering a vaccination clinic Thursday in partnership with Monroe County Public Health, according to an Ivy Tech press release. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m at Shreve Hall, located in the campus’s main building.

The clinic will administer the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine for those 18 and older who have not yet received one of the three FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccinations, according to the release.

More than 77,000 people in Monroe County are fully vaccinated, according to the Indiana vaccination dashboard. More than 15% of those fully vaccinated in Monroe County are between the ages of 20 and 24.

Just more than 90% of IU Bloomington students have received at least one COVID-19 vaccination, according to the IU’s COVID-19 dashboard. 92% of faculty and staff have received one shot and are at least partially vaccinated.

No appointments are required, but state identification is needed to get a vaccination. All vaccinations are first come, first served.
