Jalen Hood-Schifino, the No. 23 recruit in the 2022 high school class, according to the 247 Sports composite, committed to IU men’s basketball live on Tuesday on CBS Sports HQ. Hood-Schifino is ranked No. 31 nationally by Rivals.
Hood-Schifino, a 6-foot-5-inch, 210-pound guard, plays at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida.
Hood-Schifino was originally committed to the University of Pittsburgh, but reopened his recruitment in July 2020.
With Hood-Schifino's commitment, IU has the fifth-ranked 2022 recruiting class.
