Monroe County’s public health nurses are hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic Saturday at the Hoosiers Outrun Cancer event, Monroe County Health Department Lead Health Educator Kathy Hewitt said during the City of Bloomington’s weekly COVID-19 press conference. The clinic will open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be the only type of vaccine distributed at the clinic, Hewitt said.
In addition, the Monroe County Public Health Clinic has added new hours for COVID-19 vaccinations. The clinic is now open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays by appointment only at 333 E. Miller Drive, according to Monroe County’s government website. Individuals hoping to receive a COVID-19 vaccine can make an appointment on the Indiana State Department of Health’s website.
