Golfweek announced its men’s team collegiate rankings Monday, and Indiana men’s golf found itself at No. 18 after the season’s first two events.

It’s the first time this season that Indiana cracks the top 25 after finishing third in the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational and sixth in the Fighting Illini Invitational.

Additionally, the first Men’s Collegiate Individual Rankings were released with sophomore Drew Salyers and senior Mitch Davis earning recognition in the top 100. Salyers, who won the Hoosier Collegiate, was ranked No. 12, while Davis was No. 98. These two, alongside sophomore Clay Merchent, were named to the Big Ten Players to Watch list for men’s golf in the preseason.

The Hoosiers will put this new ranking to the test in the Windon Memorial Classic on Sept. 27-28 at the Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Illinois.
