University Information Technology Services reported Wednesday night that issues with the IU Login system have prevented access to multiple services including Canvas, according to its Status.IU page. The issue was resolved at 8:20 p.m., according to the status page.
"Users were experiencing difficulties accessing multiple IU websites," the update read. "Sites affected included but were not be limited to: canvas.iu.edu, google.iu.edu, gmail.iu.edu. iuanyware.iu.edu, and others. Administrators restored service at 8:20 p.m."
It is unclear how many students were effected by the issues, which prevented some from logging into the Canvas system. Canvas can be used to turn in assignments and take exams.
IU-Bloomington is in the midst of its finals week, which runs through Friday.
