A rape reportedly occurred at Wright Quad on Nov. 6, 2019, according to the IU Police Department crime log. The rape was reported Dec. 27, 2021, and the case is listed as open.
Another rape that reportedly occurred in 2018 was reported to IUPD on Dec. 14, according to an IUPD press release.
The Office of Student Conduct received a report from an unknown woman alleging a male IU student raped an incapacitated unidentified woman, according to the release. The report also claimed the male coerced her and others to perform oral sex since 2018.
According to the release, the Office of Student Conduct notified IUPD of the report, but because the report lacks a location, date or any victim information, the case is inactive.
