City of Bloomington Utilities issued a precautionary boil water advisory for seven addresses Sunday. Crews were dispatched to the intersection of Hillside Drive and High Street to repair a broken water main, according to a press release from the city. The intersection is currently closed, according to the release.

CBU customers may refer to this website for a list of the affected addresses. The advisory will last until 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

After normal water pressure is restored, those affected should run cold water from a sink or tub until clear water flows from the faucet. All water used for drinking, cooking and oral hygiene should be boiled for at least five minutes before consumption.

Those who have signed up for the Monroe County Alert will be alerted directly, according to the release.
