All of the Monroe County Community School Corporation schools will move their classes online in anticipation for the severe winter storm beginning Wednesday.
Schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday according to a tweet from the MCCSC Twitter account.
Teachers will be flexible with their assignments and will communicate with their students on how to complete them online, according to the school MCCSC website.
Breakfast and lunch meals will still be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day schools are closed unless extreme weather makes it unsafe to drive. The meals can be picked up at Batchelor, Highland Park, Templeton and Tri-North schools, according to the website.
Bloomington is expecting eight to twelve inches of snow in the latter half of this week.
