Former Indiana women’s basketball star Aleksa Gulbe signed a professional contract with Perfumerías Avenida Salamanca on Friday to continue her basketball career in the EuroLeague.
Gulbe was an All-Big Ten second-team honoree and started 89 games in her four years at Indiana. She left standing 28th on the all-time scoring list with 1,071 points, along with 618 rebounds and 112 blocks in her career.
Perfumerías Avenida is located in Salamanca, Spain and is a part of the FIBA EuroLeague. The team finished as the Spanish LF Endesa champions in 2021-22 and third in the EuroLeague.
