Ash Soni, executive associate dean for academic programs at the Kelley School of Business, will start as interim dean for the school Aug. 1.
Idalene Kesner, current dean of the Kelley School, announced April 8 that she would be leaving the role, effective July 31.
Soni received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manchester and a Master of Science from the University of Strathclyde. He went on to earn a Master and Doctorate in Business Administration at IU Bloomington.
Soni has been involved with the school since 1981 as a professor of operations and decision technologies. He has expertise in enterprise systems and applications, emerging technologies, operations research and business analytics, supply chain management and computer simulation.
