Indiana women’s golf head coach Brian May announced Wednesday that Dominika Burdová will transfer into the program with three seasons of eligibility remaining. Burdová is originally from Liberec, Czech Republic, and played two seasons at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.
"(I’m) really excited to add Dominika to the Hoosier family," May said. "She is a true competitor who is ready to come in and make an immediate impact."
Burdová led her high school team to a third-place finish in the Czech National Championship. She grabbed individual victories at the Faldo Series 2019 Czech Championship and Grabmasters 2020.
Burdová most recently competed in the Czech International Match Play Championship, where she placed second.
Burdová made the Dean’s List twice at Gardner-Webb and plans to study news editorial journalism at Indiana.
