The 76-show tour — which Mellencamp announced at the launch of his new permanent exhibit, Legends of Rock: John Mellencamp, at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland — sees Mellencamp partnering with Turner Classic Movies, marking the first time he’s had a promotional partner on tour.
Before he goes on tour, a reissue of Mellencamp's eighth studio album, “Scarecrow,” will be released on Nov. 4. The box set includes two CDs with remixed and remastered songs, unreleased bonus tracks, alternate versions of tunes, photographs and liner notes by music critic Anthony DeCurtis.
