A power outage was reported at 1:04 p.m., causing 1,271 homes northwest of campus to be without power, according to the Duke Energy outage map. Duke Energy estimates that power will be restored by 7:15 p.m. Monday.
According to the map, repair crews are on their way to the affected area.
Duke Energy did not give a reason for the outage, but the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for south central Indiana until 7 p.m. Monday.
