With inclement weather in the forecast, Indiana softball announced changes to the schedule ahead of the Hoosier Classic. The tournament, initially slated to be held March 3-5, will now be played March 4-6.
Indiana, who hosted the tournament last season, will be accompanied this year by Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, Purdue Fort Wayne University, Wisconsin and Wisconsin Green-Bay University.
The first day of the tournament is now Saturday and when Indiana will host Wisconsin Green-Bay at 12:15 p.m. in the second of four games that will be played at Andy Mohr Field.
Team 50 will play two games in a row on Sunday beginning at 3 p.m. against Wisconsin and then at 5:15 p.m. versus Purdue Fort Wayne.
The Hoosiers will play in the lone game on Monday in the final matchup of the tournament at noon against IUPUI.
Indiana enters the tournament 6-8 after going 3-2 at the UNCG Invitational. The four other schools come into the weekend with a combined record of 19-35.
