Junior forward Jordan Geronimo entered the transfer portal Wednesday, according to multiple sources, becoming the third member of Indiana men’s basketball to leave since the season ended.
Geronimo’s move to the portal comes after Indiana picked up another post player in the portal in Ball State center Payton Sparks.
Across 27 games and six starts, Geronimo averaged 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. His statistics dipped slightly overall from his sophomore campaign, when he averaged 4.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, including a career-high 15 points against the University of Wyoming to help Indiana pick up a play-in victory in the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

Geronimo finished the season in the midst of an offensive struggle, going scoreless in his last five appearances and totaling just 6 points over his last nine games. He saw reduced minutes, as well, playing in more than 10 minutes just once over that period.
Geronimo joined two other Hoosiers on scholarship in the portal: sophomore guard Tamar Bates and sophomore center Logan Duncomb.
