Jackson-Davis, who is expected to declare for the 2023 NBA Draft, will leave Indiana as the program’s all-time leader in rebounds and blocks while sitting in third place on the scoring leaderboard. He led the Hoosiers to a second-place finish in the Big Ten while averaging 20.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, four assists and 2.9 blocks per game — all career highs for the senior captain.
Jackson-Davis is one of five finalists for the Wooden Award, joining Purdue center Zach Edey, Gonzaga University forward Drew Timme, University of Kansas forward Jalen Wilson and University of Houston guard Marcus Sasser. The CBS Sports First-Team All-American list consists of the same first four honorees and University of Alabama forward Brandon Miller as the fifth.
Indiana ended its season with a loss against the Final Four-bound University of Miami in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on March 19. The Hoosiers had earned their highest seed — No. 4 in the Midwest Region and No. 15 overall — since 2013.
The Wooden Award winner will be presented April 7 in Los Angeles.
