Hoosier fans over 21 will have a new choice of beverage after Upland Brewing Company announced their official IU athletics craft beer, Hoosier Gameday Lager, Friday.

The new craft beer was designed through feedback from the Bloomington community, according to an Upland press release. Over 10,000 people took part in surveys that influenced can design, flavor profile and name of the brew.
“Hoosier Gameday Lager is the result of collaboration among thousands of passionate fans,” Upland President Eddie DeSalle said in the release.
The new beer is currently available in limited drafts at all Upland locations and will be available where Upland beer is sold this summer, according to the release. Part of the sales of Hoosier Gameday Lager will fund IU student scholarships.
