David Cross to perform at Buskirk-Chumley Theater May 19

Comedian David Cross will perform at 8 p.m. May 19 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater on his “Worst Daddy in The World Tour.” The 18+ show will feature special guest Sean Patton as the opening act.  

Cross is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer and director most known for his role as Tobias Fünke on Fox and Netflix’s hit sitcom “Arrested Development." Cross also starred in HBO’s ‘90s sketch comedy series “Mr. Show,” alongside Bob Odenkirk, John Ennis and Paul F. Tompkins.

Guest opener Sean Patton is a New York City-based comedian whose stand-up journey started at Crescent City Stage in New Orleans. Patton’s debut comedy special, “Sean Patton: Number One,” is available to stream on Peacock.  

The pair embarked on the “Worst Daddy in The World Tour” in March, and will tour North American cities until the end of June.  

Tickets to see Cross and Patton in Bloomington are currently sold out, but interested parties may contact the Buskirk-Chumley box office to inquire about a waitlist.
