Indiana football cornerback Trevell Mullen entered the transfer portal Wednesday, per his announcement on social media. Trevell, the younger brother of Baltimore Ravens cornerback Trayvon Mullen and Indiana All-American senior Taiwan Mullen, redshirted his freshman season with the Hoosiers.

Mullen was a consensus 4-star recruit coming out of Coconut Creek High School in Pompano Beach, Florida. Along with freshman linebacker Dasan McCullough, Indiana’s two highest rated recruits in the 2022 class have transferred from the program.

Ranked as the No. 30 overall cornerback in 2022, Mullen turned down offers from schools such as the University of Florida, Penn State, Auburn University and the University of Kentucky. Despite only playing on the scout team in 2022, Mullen will be highly sought after in the transfer portal.

Mullen’s exit adds to an already crowded room of Indiana transfers this offseason. The Hoosiers have bolstered their roster through the portal, highlighted by 4-star Tennessee quarterback Tayven Jackson, and were ranked as the No. 72 recruiting class in 2023, according to 247 Sports.
