Indiana University Police Department received two separate reports of sexual assault April 22 and 24.
IUPD Public Information Officer Hannah Skibba said IUPD received a report Monday from the Office of Student Conduct about a student who was reportedly sexually assaulted at Walnut Grove Center. According to the IUPD crime logs, the incident reportedly occurred Dec. 2, 2022. The person who made the report was not involved in the incident, and the victim has not reported to IUPD, Skibba said. The case was referred to university officials for further review.
Skibba said IUPD received a separate, anonymous report of sexual assault April 22. The assault reportedly occurred in early March at an on-campus residence hall, but no specific location was given. According to the IUPD crime logs, this is an active case.
