Redshirt senior linebacker Aaron Casey, sophomore running back Jaylin Lucas and redshirt senior defensive back Noah Pierre will represent Indiana football at the 2023 Big Ten Football Media Days in Indianapolis, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.
Indiana takes the podium on the second day of the event, July 27. Head coach Tom Allen will deliver an opening statement and field questions from media outlets, followed by the three players.
Casey started 11 games last season, totaling 86 tackles and 10.5 tackles for loss. He nabbed an All-Big Ten honorable mention from the conference media as well as a third-team All-Big Ten selection from Pro Football Focus.
Lucas shined as a freshman in 2022 as a kick returner. He tallied two scores apiece as a rusher and kick returner and picked up first-team All-America kick returner honors from CBS Sports and first-team All-Big Ten as a return specialist.
Rounding out Indiana’s representatives is Pierre, who appeared in all 12 games and made seven starts as a cornerback last year. As a senior, Pierre notched three sacks, made four tackles for loss and forced three fumbles.
