Bloomington underground venue, The Orbit Room, will host touring indie singer Official Claire at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Bloomington musicians TV Mike and Matt Lundquist will also perform.
Based out of Chicago, Official Claire is touring across the Midwest for the next week. After their first stop at The Orbit Room, the band will tour cities in Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa. Her current touring band includes bassist LeRoy Bach, drummer Seth Vanek and pianist Brooks Palmer.

On Official Claire’s bandcamp site, she dedicated one of her most recent singles, “Type 1 Diabetes,” to all other type 1 diabetics in the United States. The song features drums, bass, organ, acoustic guitar and percussion along with vocals from Official Claire.
Official Claire has yet to produce an EP or album, but has released five songs available on Bandcamp, Spotify and Apple Music. Two of the songs were released in 2020, while the rest were released this year. Her latest song is “You Underestimate Me,” which she released on August 17.
Tickets are available for $11 and table reservations can be purchased for $20.
