Indiana athletics will permit fans to bring one sealed, clear water bottle into Memorial Stadium for Indiana football’s season opener against No. 3 Ohio State Saturday afternoon, per an IU Athletics release. The change in policy was put in place due to temperatures forecasted in the high-80s during kickoff.
The release also stated there will be misting stations located throughout the stadium concourse, water refilling stations in the west and east concourses and ‘Grab-and-Go' kiosks which include water bottles. The ‘Grab-and-Go' kiosks are a new addition to the Memorial Stadium concourses.
Indiana and Ohio State are scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 p.m.
