Indiana men’s soccer added another transfer to its roster with graduate student forward Justin Weiss on Wednesday, according to an Indiana Athletics release. Weiss joins sophomore defender Quinton Elliot in Indiana’s 2024 transfer class.

Weiss is transferring from Big Ten opponent Northwestern University, where he played the last three seasons of his career after spending his freshman year at Colgate University. Over 51 career matches, Weiss recorded 18 goals and 10 assists.

“Justin is a proven goalscorer who will mesh well with our returning attacking group,” Indiana head coach Todd Yeagley said in the release. “His instincts and composure around goal will provide a boost to our attack.”

In the 2023 season, Weiss finished first-team All-Big Ten after finishing third in the league with seven goals, while his seven assists tied for the conference lead. At Indiana, Weiss accompanies a pair of first-team honorees in junior forward Samuel Sarver and junior midfielder Patrick McDonald.

Weiss will join the team in the fall ahead of the 2024 season, per the release.
