Indiana football’s recruiting efforts in the class of 2025 have gained steam in June, and the Hoosiers added three more commits toward the end of last week into this weekend.

On Thursday, Indiana secured a verbal pledge from defensive lineman Keishaun Calhoun, who attends Groveport Madison High School in Groveport, Ohio. Calhoun, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 245 pounds, is a 3-star recruit, according to 247sports.

Calhoun visited Bloomington on June 18 and chose the Hoosiers shortly thereafter. Calhoun generated significant interest from schools in the Mid-American Conference, including Ball State University, the University of Akron, Ohio University and the University of Toledo, among others.

Indiana hosted several recruits this weekend and added two more tallies to its commitment total Sunday morning, as Kokomo, Indiana, native Andrew Barker announced his decision via X.

Rated as a 3-star recruit by 247sports, Barker earned first-team All-Indiana honors at tight end in 2023 after catching 23 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Barker received his offer from Indiana on June 15, visited this weekend and made his commitment Sunday.

Barker had 11 Division I offers, including from Ball State and a pair of Ivy League schools in the University of Pennsylvania and Dartmouth College.

Six hours after Barker committed, edge rusher Triston Abram followed suit, announcing his pledge via X. Abram, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound defender from Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, earned a 3-star rating from 247sports after being named a first-team All-State selection this past season.

Of the Hoosiers’ three newest commitments, Abram generated the most high-major interest. He had offers from Kansas State University, Boston College, the University of Kansas and the University of Memphis, among several others.

Indiana’s 2025 recruiting class now has 15 commits and ranks No. 50 nationally, according to 247sports.
