Your MCDP Board Endorses Kamala D. Harris for President

The Executive Board of your Monroe County Democrats have unanimously endorsed the next President of the United States, Kamala Harris!

We’re ready to elect the first woman—the first Black woman—and first person of South Asian descent to the presidency who will work to build off President Biden’s myriad of successes and accomplishments, and to unite a fierce coalition big enough to beat Donald Trump, JD Vance, and the far-right extremist agenda that accompanies them.

Let’s harness the energy her candidacy brings to the ticket by helping all our candidates down ballot cross the finish line this November! When we put in the work, we win.

To see the full press release on our endorsement, click here.

Thank you to our Four Freedoms Circle donors who contribute monthly to MCDP! In January 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt first spoke of the FOUR FREEDOMS in his state of the Union address. He proposed four fundamental freedoms that people everywhere in the world should enjoy: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom From Want, and Freedom From Fear. Our belief in the Four Freedoms is fundamental to our identity as Democrats. In much the same way, our sustaining donors – those who choose to support the Monroe County Democratic Party through ongoing, monthly gifts – are fundamental to the work we do every single day.
