JD Vance, Republican nominee for vice president, and Vice President Kamala Harris are coming to Indiana next week.
Vance, now a senator of Ohio, will go to a fundraising event in Fort Wayne on July 24. The event will be inaccessible for most — costing a $1,000 donation to one of Donald Trump’s fundraising committees and more for photos and a roundtable discussion.
The location is undisclosed and only available to those who RSVP to the event — which must be emailed to T47Events@GOP.com.
Trump selected Vance as his vice presidential nominee Monday at the Republican National Convention, which ended Thursday.
Harris will go to Indianapolis, also on July 24, and speak at Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.’s Grand Boule, a convention from July 23-28 that takes place every other year.
Zeta Phi Beta is one of the nation’s largest historically Black sororities — and has chapters in several Indiana universities including IU-Bloomington. The sorority also has a citywide chapter in Indianapolis.
Harris spoke at the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority convention last year, also in Indianapolis.
