For the second year in a row, Indiana star senior setter Camryn Haworth was named to the preseason All-Big Ten team.
During Haworth’s dominant junior season last year, she tallied 73 aces and 110 kills for the Hoosiers while helping tie a program record of 21 wins. Haworth is the only Hoosier to receive the preseason honor for the past two seasons.
With the new expansion of the conference, all 18 Big Ten coaches voted on an 18-player preseason team, an increase from last year’s 15-player preseason team. Haworth was included as one of the four setters for the team. Haworth was also part of the All-Big Ten first team for the past two seasons, voted after the campaign’s conclusion.
Indiana begins its season Aug. 30 in Kennesaw, Georgia, at the Kennesaw State Classic. The Hoosiers play Kennesaw State on the 30th then Wichita State University the following day.
