One week after losing four-star center Eric Reibe to the University of Connecticut, Indiana men’s basketball lost another highly ranked recruit to the Huskies.
Five-star recruit Braylon Mullins chose UConn over the Hoosiers and the University of North Carolina on Wednesday, according to a 247Sports live stream.
The Greenfield, Indiana, native is ranked as the No. 16 recruit in the country and No. 2 in the state of Indiana, according to 247Sports. He trails only University of Notre Dame commit Jalen Haralson, who chose the Fighting Irish over Indiana and Michigan State.
Mullins and Reibe are not the only Hoosier targets to choose UConn. In the 2024 recruiting cycle, five-star forward Liam McNeeley decommitted from the Hoosiers before eventually choosing the Huskies.
Four-star forward Trent Sisley remains the only recruit in Indiana’s 2025 recruiting class. The Hoosiers have seven scholarships available for the 2025-26 season.
