Bloomington, Ind.—The Frank Southern Ice Arena, 2100 S. Henderson St., opens to the public Oct. 11 with the first general admission public skating of the 2024-25 season from 7-8 p.m.
General admission public skating takes place only during scheduled times. Public skating hours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are subject to change; visit the ice arena calendar of events or call the Ice Information Hotline at 812-349-3741 for the weekend public skating schedule. General admission public skating times for Monday through Thursday are from noon until 2:30 p.m.
Admission to all public skating sessions is $6 per person, plus $3 for skate rental. Ages five years and younger are admitted free.
The annual Skate & Scare at the ice arena takes place Oct. 19 from 7-9 p.m. All ages are invited to come in costume and skate to spooky tunes, and to visit the haunted locker room! Admission to Skate & Scare is $6 per person plus $3 for skate rental.
