ELECTION FORECAST: Expect rain, thunderstorms in Bloomington on Election Day

Bloomington’s forecast for Election Day is looking dreary. 

According to the National Weather Service, there will be scattered showers before 4 p.m. and scattered showers and thunderstorms between 4-5 p.m. After 5 p.m., thunderstorms are possible. Polls close at 6 p.m. — you may have to wait outside at some locations.

Wind is expected to be between 15-17 mph, with gusts up to 33 mph. The high today will be around 76 F and the low tonight will be around 56 F.
