A new Smoothie King location will open Tuesday in the Shoppes at 925 S. College Mall Road.
Smoothie King, a national franchise, offers a wide range of fruit and vegetable-based smoothies. The variety of options allows customers to customize their smoothies based on their wellness and health needs. According to Brett LeVecchio, a Smoothie King spokesperson, nearly 70% of its smoothie products have no added sugar.
Smoothie King smoothies follow its “Clean Blend” promise, which prevents more than 70 ingredients from being in its smoothie products, including high-fructose corn syrup, gluten and artificial colors and preservatives.
The chain also added smoothie bowls to all menus April 4 of this year. There are 10 options for smoothie bowls, according to its online menu. Smoothie King also began offering refresher options this May with flavors of pineapple mango and strawberry guava.
The restaurant chain has other locations throughout the state. According to the Columbus and Greenwood locations, the average price of a 32-ounce medium-sized smoothie blend is around $10. However, the prices vary across Smoothie King locations, according to LeVecchio.
According to Smoothie King’s website, the Bloomington location will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
