Indiana football landed its sixth transfer portal commitment Tuesday in Dominique Ratcliff, according to his post on X. The redshirt junior defensive lineman has one season of eligibility remaining.

Ratcliff spent his freshman season at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, appearing in three games and redshirting. He played the last three seasons at Texas State University.

Over Ratcliff’s first two seasons as a Bobcat, he racked up 45 total tackles, seven tackles for loss and three sacks. In 2024, he played in each of Texas State’s 12 games, accumulating 22 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He also notched 17 pressures and five quarterback hits.

As of Wednesday, Ratcliff was ranked the 23rd-best defensive lineman in the transfer portal.

Ratcliff is the second defensive lineman the Hoosiers have landed out of the portal alongside Hosea Wheeler. With redshirt senior CJ West and sixth-year senior James Carpenter each in their last collegiate seasons, Ratcliff is another piece Indiana will have on the defensive line next season.
