United Soccer Coaches named Indiana men’s soccer junior defender Quinton Elliot and senior forward Sam Sarver to the 2024 NCAA Division I All-America teams, according to an Indiana Athletics release Friday.
Elliot’s appearance on the second team marked the highest ranking of a Hoosier defender since Jack Maher’s second team honors in 2019. The University of Louisville transfer joined Indiana in February, and in his first season as a Hoosier, he logged three goals and three assists while starting all 21 games.
Sarver’s selection to the third team improves his streak of three consecutive seasons with All-American honors. The Chesterland, Ohio, native led Indiana with eight assists while also contributing five goals.
Both Elliot and Sarver made first-team All-Big Ten on Nov. 8 alongside senior forward Tommy Mihalic and senior midfielder Patrick McDonald. The quartet also earned selections to the first-team All-North region.
Indiana ended its season with a 1-0 defeat to the University of Denver in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 on Nov. 30.
