Bloomington, Ind. – The City of Bloomington invites residents to a public meeting on Tuesday, January 7 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bloomington Police Department, 220 E. 3rd Street, to discuss considerations for the future location of the Bloomington Police Department (BPD) headquarters.
The session will begin with Mayor Kerry Thomson's introduction and background presentation, providing an overview of the factors and guiding principles shaping the City’s exploration of potential sites. Chris Ciolli, Project Executive with Weddle Bros. Construction Companies, will follow up with a discussion on possible opportunities for the project.
Additionally, the meeting will include an update on the status of the public safety bond, which will help fund improvements aimed at enhancing safety and operational efficiency for BPD and the community it serves.
The meeting will be broadcast live on Community Access Television Services (CATS) and available for on-demand viewing afterward at catstv.net.
