Bloomington Police responded to an armed robbery report at the Circle K gas station at Kirkwood Avenue and Rogers Street on Wednesday night at 10:23 p.m. Police were unable to locate suspects, and the case remains an active investigation.
A 25-year-old female clerk told police that two masked men entered the store and pointed guns at her. She reported that after demanding money, the suspects left with cigarettes and money from the cash register.
At the scene, police interviewed a witness who was at a gas pump during the robbery. Bloomington Police Captain Ryan Pedigo reported the witness saw the suspects flee the gas station and run westbound on Kirkwood Avenue.
“Several officers canvassed the area in an attempt to locate the suspects, but were unsuccessful in doing so,” Pedigo said in an email to the Indiana Daily Student. “The case remains an active investigation with no further information available for release at this time.”
