Former Indiana football tight end Peyton Hendershot and linebacker Cam Jones are headed to Super Bowl LIX with the Kansas City Chiefs after their victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Hendershot, who is in his first season with the Chiefs after a pair of campaigns with the Dallas Cowboys, has caught five passes for 51 yards.

The North Salem, Indiana, native played five seasons at Indiana from 2017-21 and left Bloomington as the all-time leader in receptions (136) and receiving yards (1,479) for Hoosier tight ends. Hendershot went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Jones, who signed with the Chiefs after going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, has spent two seasons in Kansas City. He received a ring after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII victory last season after he played in all 17 regular season games before suffering a season-ending injury in the playoffs.

Jones was a three-time captain over his five seasons with the Hoosiers from 2018-22, totaling 208 total tackles and 13.5 tackles for loss.

The Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 inside Ceasars Superdome in New Orleans. Fox’s Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady will be on the call.
