Kanaan Carlyle was listed as out ahead of Indiana men’s basketball’s contest against No. 10 Purdue, according to the Big Ten Availability Report.
The sophomore guard has played 23 games this season, averaging 19 minutes and 4.6 points per game. Carlyle missed three games earlier in the season with an undisclosed injury, before returning against Minnesota on Dec. 9.
Along with Carlyle, redshirt freshman guard Jakai Newton and sophomore guard Gabe Cupps are both on the injury list. Newton has not played since Jan. 14 against Illinois, and Cupps is out indefinitely following surgery for a meniscus injury.
Purdue has no players questionable or out on the injury list ahead of the game.
Tipoff between the Hoosiers and the Boilermakers is scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Indiana. Coverage is available on Fox.
