Indiana men’s basketball added a second piece to its 2025 recruiting class.
Bosnian forward Harun Zrno committed to the Hoosiers on Friday. Arman Jovic initially reported the news before Zrno reposted an X post confirming his commitment. Zrno, who visited Indiana on Jan. 7-8 and attended the team’s 82-69 win over USC on Jan. 8, chose the Hoosiers over Wisconsin, Creighton University and the University of Virginia.
The 6-foot-7, 205-pound Zrno turns 21 years old March 1, but he’ll be a freshman when he steps on campus.
Playing for KK Slavija in the National Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zrno is averaging 18.3 points, four assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game, according to RealGM.com. He’s shooting 52.9% from the field, 46.7% from 3-point range and 78% on foul shots.
Zrno, who’s the first international prospect to commit to Indiana under head coach Mike Woodson, joins 4-star forward Trent Sisley in the Hoosiers’ 2025 recruiting class.
Indiana missed out on a pair of top targets in the class, as 5-stars Braylon Mullins and Jalen Haralson chose the University of Connecticut and the University of Notre Dame.
As such, Woodson and the Hoosiers drew criticism for missing out on two top in-state prospects. Indiana fans have also voiced displeasure with the team’s on-court product, chanting “Fire Woodson” during Indiana’s 94-69 loss to Illinois on Jan. 14.
Still, the Hoosiers are building toward the future — and Zrno’s shooting may help lead to brighter days.
