Former Indiana men’s soccer player Samuel Sarver signed a professional contract with North Texas Soccer Club on Wednesday, joining up with the MLS NEXT Pro team for the 2025 season.
Sarver racked up 90 appearances over four years with the Hoosiers, scoring 24 goals, 22 assists and 70 points, the fourth Hoosier to reach 70 points in the 21st century. The senior forward scored five goals and set up a career-high eight assists in 2024, earning himself First-Team All-Big Ten honors as he helped Indiana to a second straight Big Ten regular season championship.
North Texas SC plays in the MLS NEXT Pro league, the third division of American soccer. Founded in 2018, it functions as the reserve team for the MLS’ FC Dallas and is coming off a championship season.
FC Dallas, who selected Sarver 41st overall in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft, will watch their second-round pick grow in the reserve team.
The native of Chesterland, Ohio, will take the next step of his career in Arlington, Texas.
