The City of Bloomington placed 17 addresses under a precautionary boil water advisory Wednesday due to a water main break.
Addresses on West Oak Leaf Drive and South Hickory Drive are affected. The addresses include:

- 3710 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3714 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3715 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3722 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3727 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3730 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3731 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3738 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3739 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3746 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3747 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3752 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3753 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3760 W Oak Leaf Dr
- 3761 W Oak Leaf Dr
The advisory will remain in place until 4 p.m. Thursday unless otherwise stated. City of Bloomington Utilities is currently working on repairs.
Boil water advisories are put in place when the water pressure drops below 20 psi in the water main.
Those placed under the advisory should boil water used for drinking, cooking or oral hygiene for a minimum of five minutes before use. After water pressure is restored, cold water should be run from faucets until they flow clear.
