The IU Police Department received a report from the Title IX Office on Feb. 26 of a sexual battery that occurred Feb. 22 at Read Hall, according to IUPD Public Information Officer Julia Nowak.
IUPD reported a sexual battery and a battery under the same case number.
Nowak said the incident, which involved a person who allegedly had been fondled, was not reported by the individuals involved.
The case has been referred to university officials for review.
