Todd Young to appear at Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce event in April

U.S. Sen. Todd Young will be at the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce Dignitary Discussion on April 15.

According to a press release, event attendees will “gain exclusive insights” from individuals with experience in governance and policymaking, including Young.

The event is open to the public but requires registration. Seating is limited. It will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Monroe Convention Center located at 302 S. College Ave. in Bloomington. Doors will open at 11 a.m., lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the program will run from noon to 1 p.m.

During the event, Young will discuss federal issues that impact Bloomington and Monroe County according to the press release. He will cover topics that affect the local business community including the I-69 Corridor and the CHIPS Act.

Young has represented Indiana in the U.S. Senate since 2017. According to his website, he has worked on issues such as combating Chinese influence, growing the economy, expanding affordable housing options and more.

This will be Young’s fourth appearance at the chamber event. He previously attended in 2017, 2021 and 2023.

The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization representing local businesses since 1915. The chamber offers leadership opportunities, volunteer activities and business-building programs focused on economic, civic and social priorities. The Chamber is an independent organization separate from the Indiana Chamber and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
