Indiana men’s basketball secured its third transfer portal addition Sunday, as former Davidson College forward Reed Bailey committed to the Hoosiers, according to On3 Sports’ Joe Tipton’s X post.

Bailey will have one season of eligibility remaining. He joins senior guard Conor Enright and senior forward Tucker DeVries, the son of new Indiana head coach Darian DeVries, as transfers to choose the Hoosiers this spring.

The 6-foot-10, 230-pound Bailey averaged 18.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game in 2024-25. He shot 47.7% from the field and 41.5% from beyond the arc. Bailey earned first-team All-Atlantic 10 honors while being named the conference’s most improved player.

A native of Harvard, Massachusetts, Bailey started all 32 games in both his freshman and sophomore seasons. He averaged 12.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in 2023-24, a significant improvement after notching 5.5 points and 2.8 boards per contest as a freshman in 2022-23.

Bailey attended Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He was a three-star prospect and the No. 188 recruit in the class of 2022, according to 247Sports.

The 22-year-old Bailey brings a seasoned scorer to the Hoosiers’ front court. He’s tallied 1,203 points for his career while shooting 46.2% from the floor.
