Indiana men’s basketball added another recruit to head coach Darian DeVries’ squad with the addition of guard Jasai Miles on Wednesday, according to On3 Sports’ Joe Tipton’s X post. Miles has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-6, 210-pound Miles spent two seasons with the Ospreys, totaling 51 starts in 64 appearances. In his sophomore season, he averaged 15.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in 31.6 minutes per game, earning a selection to the Atlantic Sun Conference Third Team All-Conference.
Miles’ 13 minutes per game increase from his freshman to sophomore season resulted in marked improvement. He increased his scoring average by 9.7 points per game and rebounds by 2.6 per game. His field goal percentage rose from 38.9% to 42.5%, and his 3-point percentage jumped from 29.9% to 33.5% in nearly triple the total number of attempts.
Indiana’s backcourt continues to improve with Miles’ addition, along with former Sam Houston State University guard Lamar Wilkerson and former DePaul University guard Conor Enright.
Miles, Wilkerson and Enright account for half of DeVries’ squad. Fellow Hoosier transfers include forward Reed Bailey from Davidson University and Tucker DeVries from West Virginia University. Incoming freshman forward Trent Sisley is the only member of Indiana’s high school recruiting class.
