Former Indiana women’s basketball guard Yarden Garzon committed to Maryland on Monday, according to her Instagram post.

Garzon previously entered the transfer portal March 31 with a “do not contact” tag after the Hoosiers’ season ended March 23 with a loss to the University of South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32.

Indiana and Garzon faced off with Maryland four times across her three seasons in Bloomington, going 3-1 against the Terrapins. Across those four matchups, the Ra’anana, Israel, native averaged 14.3 points, 1.8 assists and five rebounds.

Garzon becomes the second former Hoosier to commit elsewhere. Former forward Sharnecce Currie-Jelks committed to Murray State University on Sunday. Lexus Bargesser, Lilly Meister, Julianna LaMendola and Henna Sandvik have yet to announce where they will play next season.
