An unidentified man stole a bicycle from a Coca-Cola-sponsored Little 500 display at the Kroger located at the 1100 block of College Mall Road on Tuesday evening.
A Kroger manager called the Bloomington Police Department on Wednesday and reviewed surveillance footage. The video showed a man entering the Kroger on a motorized grocery cart and driving to the display near the pharmacy. From there, he removed the bicycle from the display and attempted to leave through the north exit, but the doors were locked as it was after 10 p.m.
Surveillance footage captured the man riding the white bicycle from the north exit to the south exit, where he drove off through the parking lot.
The bike is worth $450 according to a Coca-Cola representative.
The case remains active as police attempt to identify the suspect.
